KADUNA, NIGERIA

In 1965, I was on the verge of suicide; and the urge to take my life seemed to be getting stronger every day. No one knew what I was going through, but I knew I needed help. I started going to a local church on Sundays, but I always went home as empty as when I had left.

God heard my cry for help, and He knew how much I loved my grandmother; so He brought her from West Virginia to Ohio on a mission. Grandma’s son and his wife belonged to Grace Cathedral, and they asked me to go to church with them; but I never did. However, when Grandma asked me to take her to Grace Cathedral, I couldn’t say no because I loved her so much. She was always a blessing to me.

On September 14, 1965, I went to Grace Cathedral; and I found what I had been looking for. I continued taking my grandma to all the services; and on November 21, 1965, I gave my heart to Jesus. That miracle of salvation was my greatest miracle of all. I felt so much love engulf me, and I was also instantly delivered from smoking. I had been smoking a carton a week, but I was free!

I received the Holy Ghost baptism December 10, 1966. Had it not been for the Lord, I would have been dead in 1966; and I know where I would have been without salvation.

After I got saved, things got worse at home because my husband was an alcoholic. If he would get behind me, I would almost smother in fear. One night, Rev. Angley had a special service; and when he prayed, we were to break a rubber band, which represented any kind of bondage we needed to be broken. I got my miracle for fear in that service, and God gave me this scripture in Galatians 5💯 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Thank God, I was free!

One of the greatest miracles I received in my many years in this ministry was for psoriasis. I tried everything I could, but it didn’t get any better. Then God touched me, and I was completely healed.

One year in February, I found a lump in my right breast; but I knew God would heal me. When June came, my breast was hurting and burning. Then one Sunday morning, Rev. Angley said there were nine people getting a miracle for a growth, and I claimed my miracle. I checked the next morning, and the lump was gone.

Every time I have needed a healing touch for something, God has been there. I’m so thankful God led me to Grace Cathedral and chose me to be a part of this great ministry.

I used to work for a delivery company; and one Saturday, I was carrying a heavy box of about 150 pounds. As I was leaving my truck, I tripped over another box and fell into a metal shelf with all my weight on my hip. Instantly, I was in a lot of pain. When I got home, it was swollen and bruised and had turned all sorts of colors.

When I woke up Sunday morning, I could barely get out of bed. It hurt to sit, stand or lie down; and I could barely walk, but I was determined to go to church. I am one of the audio engineers at Grace Cathedral, and I wanted to be in my place. After that service, I got prayer from Rev. Machamer.

Sunday night, I was still in a lot of pain; but I went to church anyway. I wanted to sing with the Jubilee Choir, and I had to put up all the microphones for the performers beforehand. I did a lot of walking and moving around, and I was still in excruciating pain. Again, I got prayer from Rev. Machamer, and God really moved for me.

Monday, I was able to go to work, and every day got better. By Thursday, all the pain was gone. I got prayer again that Sunday night; and within a couple of days, the swelling and bruising started going away.

Another miracle I would like to share happened several years ago. One morning, I was playing and chasing my little sister up the stairs; and I stubbed my toe. I didn’t think much of it; and I went on walking, running and fishing for the rest of the day. When I finally got home, I took off my shoe; and my toe was black and blue and crooked. It turned out that I had actually broken my toe.

That happened on a Friday, so I went to church that night and received prayer from Rev. Angley. Within three days, everything was fine. That Monday, I volunteered at church doing landscaping; and I was on my feet all day for the Lord with no problem.

I want to start by saying I am a tither, and I follow God’s instructions that say the tenth is holy unto Him. When I get a dollar, ten cents of it belongs to God. Out of obedience I do that, and I enter into a partnership with God. I am His partner, and He looks out for me.

The roof on my house was getting old, and it was beginning to leak. I came home from church one night, and there was water on my floor. I had to put a bucket under the leak, and I knew the situation was not going to get better on its own. I didn’t have much money to spend on a roof, so I decided I would try to fix it myself. That was not a good plan, and it didn’t work.

I was looking to God for an answer, and I saw an ad on television. I made a call to that business. They came to my house and took a look at my problem and said they could fix it, so I gave them some money as a down payment.

After that, the delay game started; and they kept putting me off. I kept bothering them, and I think they finally got tired of it and sent some workers out. When they arrived, I could tell they had an “I don’t care” attitude; and they butchered my roof.

Not too long afterward, the rain started coming; and the leak was back. I called those people and told them my roof was leaking again. To my surprise, they said they were going to do something they don’t usually do. Then they replaced my whole roof, and it didn’t cost me anything. I got a beautiful, new roof with new wood underneath and 30-year shingles on top. That is what God does for His children.
