John recorded Jesus praying to His Father for His disciples saying, And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me (John 17:22,23). The Early Church disciples were just like Jesus, and the Lord gave them all of His glory and power to use for His honor. He is doing the same thing for the Bride of Christ today.

Today, the Bride is full of the glory of the Lord. She radiates with His divine love and true happiness, and people take notice because everyone longs to be happy; but sadly, many don’t want to serve God to be happy. They think they can achieve that same happiness on their own, but they will never succeed.

God rejoiced over His Son and gave Him great joy. The Lord is giving great joy to the Bride as well; and the Bible says, The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows of the Bride and of living realities to come. As you look into that mirror of yesterday, you will see a reflection of today; and the Bride is now emerging from those types and shadows in all of her glory and greatness. The world is beginning to see a clear picture of the Bride of Christ in her purity, righteousness and holiness; and she is more beautiful than any bride you will ever see on this Earth.

Nothing like Divine Love

The Bride is healthy in the Lord. The power of the Holy Ghost shines through her at all times, and the nine fruits of the Spirit are working in her life. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23). The Bride is blessed with the power of God; and she is rich in longsuffering, gentleness, goodness and self-control. In turn, she serves plenty of love, joy, peace and faith.

There is nothing on Earth like divine love, and the Father bestowed plenty of it upon Jesus when He gave Him to us. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (John 3:16). That same love is to be in the heart of every bridal company member.

The Bride is just like her Master, and she has His same love and compassion for people throughout the world in an hour when people have such a little bit of love for others. The Bride has taken on Christ’s very nature because she has the same Holy Ghost baptism within that He received, and she is running her last mile home with Him.

Devils Have to Go

Jesus served miracles and healings to all who would accept them. He gave the blind their sight; He made cripples whole, and He made the weak to be healthy and strong. He saved the lost and delivered the devil possessed.

Mark 5 tells of Legion, a wild man who was out of his mind and dwelt among the tombs. People tried to chain him, but those devils in him were powerful; and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him (Mark 5:4).

Then Legion met Jesus, the one who had all power; and Jesus cried to those devils in Legion, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit (Mark 5:8). And those devils came out. When people went to see what had happened, they saw Legion sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind (Mark 5:15).

Through the blood of Jesus, devils are still being cast out today. Jesus said, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17).

The Bride must be God-conscious and devil-conscious. She is going to wear the shoes of Jesus and, with His blood power, trample devils underfoot. Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

The devils are going to feel the vibration as the Bride walks on Earth, and they will try to stay out of her way because they are afraid of the power of God working in her life. When Jesus first met Legion, the devils in him said, I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not (Mark 5:7). After He cast out those devils, they besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country (Mark 5:10).

The Bride is bringing holy terror to the devil and his kingdom in this final hour as she uses the power of God to defeat him. She will snatch so many people from the devil’s clutches and put them into the arms of Jesus as she brings in the harvest of lost souls.

The Rib Company

Jesus said to John the Revelator, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife (Revelation 21:9). Today, the Lord is saying to us, “Come hither to the Word of God, and I will show you the Bride of Christ.”

God made a bride for Adam in the Garden of Eden. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man (Genesis 2:21,22). Imagine how Adam must have felt when he woke up and saw Eve. She must have been gorgeous, and God had made her from just one rib. God can do anything.

Then that perfect man and woman sinned. Suddenly, they realized they were naked, so they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (Genesis 3:7). But those aprons weren’t good enough. There had to be shedding of blood to clothe them properly; so unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them (Genesis 3:21).

Jesus is the second Adam. While He slept in death on the Cross, the soldiers pierced His side; and from His side came the rib company, the Bride of Christ. The second Adam became the perfect, blood sacrifice so we could be clothed in robes of righteousness. Only divine blood from Heaven could have done that.

The first Adam was created with the great glory of the Lord, but he lost it. The second Adam came forth with Heaven’s glory and never lost it. He prayed to His Father concerning His disciples saying, And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22). Jesus is giving the Bride all the glory, power and greatness of Heaven that He had when He walked on Earth.

One Accord with the Lord

The Bride of Christ is described in Ephesians: That he [Jesus] might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). Jesus paid a great price so His Bride could live free from sin here on Earth. For sin shall not have dominion over you (Romans 6:14).

The Bible speaks of the Groom saying, Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth (I Peter 2:22). There is no ungodliness or deceit in the mouth of the Bride either. She does not gossip or even listen to it. She speaks only God-talk. She is adored by Heaven, and angels come down to battle with her and for her.

God is bringing the members of the Bride together in this last hour. He needs them to help Him win the lost at any cost and compel people to come to Jesus with the love of the great I Am. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

The Bride is one with the Lord, and the bridal company members are walking together in one mind and one accord. Their ears are listening for one voice—Jesus. The Bride doesn’t want to hear what people have to say; she wants to hear what her Lord has to say.

The Bride is listening only to the six things Paul spoke of in Philippians. Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). When she hears anything against her Lord or something that does not match these six things, she hangs up or walks away and continues on with her work for the Lord.

The Bride Is...

The Bride will get people’s attention as she serves the beautiful fruits of the Spirit, but that doesn’t mean the people of the world will love her. Many hated Jesus, and they will hate her too. That’s why Jesus said, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you (John 15:18,19).

Some people will watch the Bride just so they can accuse her; but one day, the devil and all her accusers will be cast down. In the meantime, the Bride’s going to hold her head high and be all her Lord wants her to be.

Solomon described the Bride saying, Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)? The Lord calls her my beloved (Song of Solomon 1:14). Jesus paid a great price for His treasured Bride. All hell will come against her, but Heaven will back her up.

Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness [of this world], leaning upon her beloved [Lord] (Song of Solomon 8:5)? It’s the Bride, and she is walking in the light of her Lord. Then on Rapture day, she will be lifted to Heaven’s gate and walk down Glory Avenue to stand before the great throne of God. What a glorious day that will be!

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will last for seven years, followed by a 1000-year honeymoon on Earth. During that time, the curse will be lifted from the Earth; and Christ and His Bride will rule and reign in perfect peace.

See the Bride in Abel and Noah

Let’s look at types of the Bride in the Old Testament. Adam and Eve’s first son, Cain, brought forth some beautiful fruit as a sacrifice to the Lord; but the Lord would not accept it because it wasn’t a blood sacrifice, and Cain knew better.

His brother, Abel, brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering (Genesis 4:4). Why? Because it was a blood sacrifice.

Cain is a type of the world, and he was so upset when God rejected his sacrifice and accepted Abel’s that he murdered his brother. Abel was a type of the Bride, pure and holy before the Lord.

Noah and his family are a type of the Bride. They were holy people who separated themselves from the rest of the world. They spoke only the love language of the Lord, and they had holy hands to work for Him. They had holy minds to think with, and they possessed all of Heaven’s talents that were made available to them.

God told Noah exactly how to build the ark; and when they were finally finished building, God Himself closed the door. Then the rain began to pour. Our ark today is Jesus, and He gives us all the protection we need.

Soon, the Lord’s going to say, “Come into the ark, my Bride, because it’s about to sail. Your Lord cometh.” Then His hand will sweep down and close the ark door, and there will be no more getting into the ark, Christ Jesus. The Bride will be caught away just before the horrible flood of tribulation strikes.

Like Noah, the Bride has everything she needs for her final walk. Sure, the devil will fight her and try to defeat her in every way he can; but the Lord will see her through. She won’t be depressed or full of despair because she is favored by Heaven and crowned with its glory before she even gets there. Jesus is her great ark of safety, love and supply. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Don’t Look Back

Let’s look at the types and shadows in the story of Lot. And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground (Genesis 19:1). Those two angels represented the Spirit and the Word, and they came to lead Lot and his family out of the degraded cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. They cried, Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither (Genesis 19:22).

Today, the Tribulation Period can’t begin until the Bride is taken out. Until then, the Bride has the Holy Spirit and the Word to lead her to Rapture ground. She can’t yield to the spirit of self or others; she has to live in the Word and yield to the Holy Spirit.

As the two angels were leading Lot, his wife and his two daughters out of the cities before destruction came, they were told not to look back. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26). Although she was running away, her heart was in those cities.

Those who are lukewarm today won’t make it out of this world either. Jesus said, So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (Revelation 3:16).

Lot represents the pure Bride of Christ. The angels were a type of the Holy Ghost leading them out, and Lot’s wife represents those who are walking far off from God. They don’t keep up with their praying, fasting or study of the Word. They’re not really dedicated to the Lord or living consecrated, righteous lives before Him, so they too are looking back; but Jesus said, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62).

Some people are so deceived that they think they can say and do whatever they want to and still meet Jesus in the air, but that is not so. The Bride has a holy mind and a holy tongue, and she serves love and peace. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9).

A Bride for Isaac

Genesis 24 tells the story of Abraham sending his servant Eliezer back to his homeland to find a bride for his son, Isaac. In that account, Abraham was a type of God; Isaac was a type of Jesus, and Eliezer was a type of the Holy Ghost.

When Eliezer arrived, he met a young virgin named Rebekah at the well; and she met all the criteria to become Isaac’s wife. Today, the members of the bridal company are spiritual virgins of righteousness and holiness. They must live pure and clean before the Lord without any sin.

Just as Rebekah came to that well to serve, the Bride comes to the well of salvation to serve. When Eliezer asked for water, Rebekah immediately stopped what she was doing to serve him. The Bride of Christ will yield to the calls of the Holy Spirit as well and invite all to join her at the well of salvation. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price (Isaiah 55:1).

Eliezer told Rebekah about Isaac and of how wonderful he was, and her eyes lit up. Eliezer asked her parents if Rebekah could go with him; and they said, We will call the damsel, and inquire at her mouth (Genesis 24:57). They wanted her to decide for herself just as each member of the bridal company must decide for themselves whether or not they will follow the Holy Spirit’s drawing and serve the Lord. Rebekah’s answer was, I will go (Genesis 24:58).

The long journey back to Isaac on a bumpy camel was not easy for Rebekah, and the Bride’s journey to meet her Groom on Rapture ground won’t be easy either. Rebekah left her parents, her family and her friends behind; but she couldn’t wait to meet Isaac, and she had Eliezer to show her the way. The Bride of Christ is leaving those of the world behind and traveling dark, dusty and bumpy roads; but she has the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to show her the way as she focuses on meeting her Groom.

Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming (Genesis 24:63). Isaac finally saw the camel train with his bride arriving, and what a marvelous day that was when Isaac and Rebekah’s eyes met. And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel (Genesis 24:64).

Rebekah was so focused on Isaac that she probably didn’t even realize when her feet hit the ground. And when Isaac saw Rebekah, the Bible says, he loved her (Genesis 24:67). It was a match made in Heaven by the Holy Spirit Himself. Jesus loves His Bride as well, and He can’t wait for her to be with Him. What a great wedding day that will be!

More Types of the Bride

The book of Ruth tells of a beautiful love story, but it is much more than that. Ruth was not from Israel; but after her husband had died, she left her country to follow her mother-in-law to Israel. She is a type of the Gentile Bride.

As Ruth gleaned in the fields of Boaz, he fell in love with her; and he became her perfect redeemer kinsman, according to the Old Testament Law. Boaz is a type of our perfect Redeemer, Jesus. The story is a type and shadow of the glorious redemption of the Bride of Christ.

Today, the Bride is gleaning in the harvest fields of her Lord, and she is working to bring in every soul she possibly can before her Master returns. She doesn’t love the pleasures of the world; she loves lost souls. She knows there will be fiery trials, but she will not compromise; and the Lord will see her through. I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 5:23).

Enoch is a type of the Bride, and he was taken to Heaven alive. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5).

Elijah was a type of the Bride, and he was raptured as well. And it came to pass, as they [Elijah and Elisha] still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (II Kings 2:11).

Esther is a type of the Bride; and like Esther, the Bride will fast. The king’s chamberlain is a type of the Holy Spirit, and Esther obeyed everything he told her to do in preparing to meet the king. Today, the Bride will be completely obedient to the Holy Spirit, and He will dress her in robes of white for her great wedding day to come. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (Revelation 19:8).

When Esther finally walked in before the king, he loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti (Esther 2:17).

The Bride will be full of the Spirit and listening for every bit of direction from Him. He will make her so nigh to Heaven that she can be walking along on Earth and then take one final step into Glory.

Be Like Jesus

In the New Testament, we first see the Groom as the babe of Bethlehem. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:12). Then we see Jesus as a grown man, perfect in all of His ways. The Bride must be perfect in her ways as well. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

We see Jesus with healing power for the people. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). And we see Him with His cleansing blood. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:3,7).

Keep in mind all of those things and know that as he [Christ] is, so are we in this world (I John 4:17). The Bride has her Lord’s truth, love and compassion; and she is serving those things to a lost world. She wears the veil of consecration and lives separated from the world and from all that is ungodly.

The Bride walks with the dignity and grace of Heaven and is full of the humility of her Lord. There is no ego about her. She knows Jesus in His sufferings and in the power of His resurrection. She knows Him in His sacrifices and in His mighty power to deliver. Then when Christ appears we [the Bride] shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (I John 3:2).

A Heart for Souls

Jesus came and started this divine mission, and the Bride is finishing that mission. Jesus said, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:15,16).

The Bride is gleaning in the harvest fields throughout the world and compelling the lost, through divine love, to come into the Kingdom. The cry of her heart is, “Give me souls or let me die.” Like Jesus, she will work until the day is done. I [Jesus] must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4).

The Bride will have her nights of prayer and days of tears, but her powerful weapon is the divine blood; and the Holy Spirit is forever teaching her how to use it. That blood of Jesus defeats the devil and destroys all sin, all sickness and every bondage. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8).

Receive a New Heart

If you are a sinner, a backslider or a lukewarm Christian today, you are not a member of the bridal company. How sad it is for you to be without the Lord in such a glorious hour. Come to Jesus today and stop letting the enemy take over your mind. Awake from the dead and come into living life through the blood of Jesus Christ that was spilled on Calvary. Don’t die lost when you can go to Heaven with us. Don’t be left in the Tribulation Period when you can dine at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

If there is anything in your life that is unlike Jesus, surrender it all to Him right now. Jesus loves you, and He wants you to be in Heaven with Him as the eternal ages roll.

Raise your hands and say this prayer with me: Oh, God, save my soul. I thank you, Lord, for your plan of redemption, and I thank you that Jesus died for my sins. I know there is power in His blood to wash away all of my sins and make me whiter than snow. I am so sorry that I sinned against you, but I am giving myself to you right now. Come into my heart, Jesus, and cleanse me through the power of your mighty blood. Amen.

Receive a Miracle

The Early Church had miracles and healings in abundance, and those miracles and healings are still taking place today. If you need a miracle, you can have one. Jesus went to the whipping post for you and me; and the Bible says, With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

If you believe that, raise your hand and look to the Lord as I pray: Lord, I bring those who have cancer, heart problems, diabetes, paralysis and all kinds of sicknesses and diseases to you. In the holy name of Jesus, I call down your miracle, healing power made available through the power of the Holy Ghost. In the mighty name of Jesus, we put all their afflictions and diseases under the blood. Heal! in the holy, all-powerful name of Jesus. Heal! I pray. Amen.

Feel that miracle power flowing through you right now, and praise the Lord for what He is doing for you. Only believe and let Him make you whole all over. Then write, email or post a message to social media to let us know how God has blessed you. We would love to share your testimony and rejoice with you. God bless you today.
