Impossibilities or Possibilities

Is your life filled with impossibilities or possibilities? In your times of need, you can choose to doubt God; or you can choose to put your trust in Him. If you choose to doubt, don’t blame Him for unanswered prayer. The Bible tells us, But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:6-8).
God hates doubt. He cannot work with it, yet so many children of God seem to be double-minded. They believe God one moment and doubt Him the next. They are in divine faith one moment and fall into human faith the next. That greatly hinders people in their relationship with God.
This is the hour for the Bride of Christ to take on the mind of Jesus, and members of the bridal company can have it. The Word of God declares, But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16). Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). The mind of Christ is a single mind, meaning it does not waver between doubt and faith. The mind of Christ operates in divine faith all the time.
When Jesus was on Earth, He called human faith little faith because it is weak and useless. Little faith is contaminated with impossibilities, doubt, weakness, fear and despair. Matthew 14 tells of the disciples being out in a little boat on a stormy sea. Then suddenly, Jesus appeared to them doing the impossible—walking the waters towards their ship. Peter instantly cried out, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water (Matthew 14:28). Jesus did; and at that moment, Peter used divine faith to obey the Master; and he stepped out of the boat. Then he began to do the impossible when he started walking the waters towards Jesus.
But Peter made a big mistake and took his eyes off Jesus. He got his attention on the howling winds and the roaring waves around him; and the next thing you know, Peter sank like a rock. In just a brief moment, Peter went from divine faith into human faith. When Peter stepped out of the boat to walk on the stormy sea, he took his eyes off Jesus. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:31)?
Keep Your Mind on God
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). When you keep your eyes upon Jesus regardless of the troubles that surround you, you will be able to walk the waters of life just like Peter did. Your impossibilities will become possibilities through faith in the blood name of Jesus when you keep your eyes on Him and your mind stayed upon Him.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Be careful not to allow the cares of life to distract you. Don’t allow the troubles of this world and what people say and do cause you to lose sight of Jesus, or you’ll begin struggling to stay afloat in this life. You’ll think nobody loves you, and God does not care about you when the Word says, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you (I Peter 5:7).
Don’t Lose Sight of Jesus
In Mark, you can again find the disciples about to set sail on the sea; and that time, Jesus was with them. As they began to launch out, Jesus declared, Let us pass over unto the other side (Mark 4:35). Then Jesus fell asleep in the back of the boat.
Suddenly, a great storm arose seemingly out of nowhere. Soon, the disciples were struggling to make it to the other side of the sea. The ship was being tossed to and fro as the waves beat their vessel, and the ship was filling with water.
After the disciples had exhausted all their human efforts, they remembered Jesus was on board. By that time, they were so full of doubt and fear that when they woke up Jesus, they began to accuse Him of not caring that they were about to die. They never really considered that He was facing the same predicament they were; and they didn’t remember that He had said, “Let us pass over unto the other side.” He had not said, “Let us go under.”
So Jesus calmly stood to His feet to teach the disciples another lesson in divine faith. And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm (Mark 4:39). Then Jesus said, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith (Mark 4:40)?
Never Let the Storms Bury You
Child of God, the storms of life can rise quickly and strike at a moment’s notice before you have time to get fixed. Unfortunately, we live in a society today that is man and the devil’s making. We don’t live in a perfect world, and Jesus tells us in the Word of God that in this world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
Jesus overcame this world; and with Him in your life, you too will be able to overcome all obstacles and opposition life sets in your path. Take a lesson from the disciples and never forget what Jesus has said in the Word, but how many times have you done that when the storms of life came at you? How many times have you lost sight of Jesus when you were struggling to overcome your problems and getting nowhere?
That is when the promises of God should speak to you as Jesus spoke to the disciples. That is when you should hear Jesus saying, “Let us pass over unto the other side.” There is no defeat in Christ Jesus for He promised, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).
When troubles, trials or sickness come in like a mighty storm, remember the Master’s will for your life and remember that God’s Word says, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Believers shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). And the promises of God go on and on.
Give Your Burdens to Jesus
Always keep God’s promises before you. Put your faith in what He has said, and you will not go under. You will always cross over to the other side. Stop trying to work out all your troubles on your own. Handle what you can; and then by divine faith, unload what you cannot do on Jesus.
Jesus gave this great invitation: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
You can always try to work things out on your own, and Jesus will let you do that. He will never impose Himself upon you or interfere in your personal life; but as the storms of life grow worse, your mind will begin to fill with fear and frustration. Then like the disciples, you will begin to question if God really loves you or cares about you even though the Bible says, The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15).
Child of God, the Master is there with you in your vessel on that stormy sea just waiting for you to look to Him in all love and faith. Then He will rise up in your life and declare, “Peace, be still!” Suddenly, your impossibilities will become possibilities.
Search the Word for every time men and women honored God and put their trust in Him. You will see that He moved. Their impossibilities became possibilities, and here are just a few: In Noah’s day, the ark sailed. God gave Abraham a son in his old age. When the Israelites were leaving Egypt, the Red Sea parted to make a dry highway for them to cross to the other side. The Hebrew boys were thrown into the fiery furnace and walked out unharmed. Daniel walked out of the lions’ den untouched. A little boy named David killed the giant, Goliath, with just one stone and a sling.
Spend Time with the Lord
God is very careful to prepare His children to face the impossibilities of life the right way. God was preparing David to face Goliath when He helped David kill a bear and a lion. Then when King Saul was looking for someone to go up against Goliath, little David told him, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine (I Samuel 17:37).
As a child, David spent much time alone with God as he tended his father’s sheep, and it paid great dividends. When David entered the camp of the Israelite army as they faced the Philistines and Goliath, David was not full of doubt, fear and worry as all the other soldiers were. His vessel was full of love and faith and a spirit of praise, and he was ready to be used of God. In the Bible, we have wonderful Psalms of praise that David wrote, and they bless us yet today.
Like David, the Bride of Christ must take time to be alone with God so He can give her words to bless her and words to help others. He wants to fill His vessels with divine love and faith to serve to a lost and dying world. Jesus instructed, Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Luke 11:9). Those are three powerful promises you must put into action through divine faith for yourself and for others.
Jesus Performed Amazing Miracles
Friend, you may have problems in your life that there seem to be no answers for. You may have troubles with no solutions. You may have a sickness or disease that man and medical science declare there is no cure for. Your case may seem impossible to you and others, but it’s not impossible in the eyes of God. Jesus said, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
God asked this question: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me (Jeremiah 32:27)? The Father sent His Son into this world. He represented the Father, and He proved that nothing is too hard for God. And Jesus went about all Galilee...healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23).
Jesus delivered the devil possessed and even Legion, a wild man bound by thousands of devils. Then they [the people] went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid (Luke 8:35). Jesus even raised the dead to life again. He [Jesus] cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes (John 11:43,44).
The Bible declares, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). What He did yesterday in the Word of God, He is doing today; and He is doing it through this Jesus ministry. But the greatest miracle Jesus ever performed when He was on Earth was when men and women would come to Him, and He would forgive them of all their sins. He raised their dead souls and filled them with eternal life. That is the miracle of salvation, and it’s the greatest miracle a person can receive.
The Miracle of Salvation
If there is sin in your life and you are without God today, you can receive the greatest of all miracles, the miracle of salvation. The Bible tells us, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). You are resurrected into the newness of life through the power that is in the blood of Jesus.
If you want that newness of life, you can pray with me today. The Bible says, If we confess our sins, he [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).
Make your confession before the Lord right now and pray this prayer with me in all faith. Say, Oh, God. I confess my sin before you. Forgive me, Father, for I have come home to serve you for the rest of my life. I believe there is power in the divine blood of Jesus to wash away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come on in. Amen. If you meant that prayer, Jesus is yours.
You Can Be Delivered
You now have the Healer living within you; so whatever your need is, remember all things are possible when you only believe. Are you sick and afflicted today? Do you have a great bondage in your life that doesn’t seem to be breaking? Do you have a great burden? Let the power of God do for you what no other power can do. Let Him take your impossibilities and turn them into possibilities.
Lord, in the blood name of Jesus, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. I bring those who are in great need with a great bondage in their life. Lord, set them free. In the blood name of Jesus, heal, heal! Let your blood power flow and heal them right now. Break every bondage; lift every burden, and set them free for your honor and your glory. In the blood name of Jesus, I pray. Amen. Friend, watch God move in your life and give Him the praise, the honor and the glory. Let us know what God has done for you.
God bless you.
