Throughout the world today, there are such a relatively few number of people anymore who believe in what Christmas is really about. They celebrate Christmas without Jesus, but they are missing the true joy and meaning of that beautiful season. Jesus is the reason people began celebrating Christmas in the first place, and He still should be a part of every celebration today.

Jesus said, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me (Matthew 11:29). Know Jesus, and you will be free. Learn of His love and grace. Know Him as the Son of God and learn why He came.

You have to learn all you can about Jesus and make Him a part of your Christmas. Don’t get caught up in the materialistic Christmas of the world and leave Jesus out. So much about Christmas today has become a mockery of the true and living Christ.

Jesus came to Earth on that first Christmas and was born in a lowly manger. Later, He gave His life on a cruel Cross for all mankind; yet on Christmas, people spend time with family members and friends, but they don’t spend time with Jesus. They buy gifts for many people, yet they never give Jesus the gift of their heart. They don’t have God’s gift of salvation for themselves, so they can’t serve it to the many lost souls who need it so much.

Jesus must be your first love; and you must want everyone to know the divine love, happiness, peace and joy He brought. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Stay Away from the Tree of Death

Many people put up beautifully decorated Christmas trees in their houses at Christmastime, but do they know what they mean? A Christmas tree is an evergreen, and it represents the everlasting life that Jesus brought. He willingly died on a cruel, rugged Cross, but He was resurrected in victory for you and me. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:55,57). The beautiful ornaments on the tree represent the many gifts the Lord freely gives us.

Adam and Eve went to the tree of death even though God had told them to stay away from it, and all mankind has paid for their disobedience. Adam and Eve had Christmas every day in the beautiful Garden of Eden before they fell into sin. God the Father went down into the Garden every day to walk and talk with them. How wonderful that must have been.

God had plainly told them, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:16,17). But Eve didn’t listen. She let the serpent entice her to eat of that tree, and then she enticed Adam to eat of it as well.

The divine tree of life was in that Garden too, so why didn’t Eve go to that tree instead? It was for the same reason that people don’t go to Jesus today—they want to do their own thing. After Adam and Eve failed, God moved the tree of life up to Heaven; and all who will give their hearts to Him can one day go there to eat of that eternal tree.

Jesus Brought All We Need

The angel said to the shepherds, Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people (Luke 2:10). A Jesus Christmas is for all people who will recognize Him as their Savior. Those who don’t will not go to Heaven. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He is the Christmas way and our Tree of Life. He is our everything, and no one can be complete without Him. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10).

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest (Luke 2:11,13,14). When you celebrate the right kind of Christmas, you will sing songs and carols of honor and praise to our Lord and to what took place on that first Christmas. Christmas carols are some of the greatest songs ever written, and they go forth each year like mighty rivers from the throne of grace for all the world to hear.

Those angels on that Christmas night also declared, And on earth peace, good will toward men (Luke 2:14). There is very little peace and goodwill in the world today because so few people truly honor God.

The Greatest Gift of All

Christmas was born in Bethlehem in the form of a baby boy. He was born of the Virgin Mary, and God was His Father. The shepherds were the first ones to enjoy that miraculous first Christmas. The angels spread the good news and directed them to the stable, so they left their flocks to go see the Christmas baby in the manger. Those shepherds believed it all and became great witnesses.

Oh, people of the world, wake up before it’s too late and learn what Christmas is all about because your soul is at stake! Jesus is God’s greatest gift to the world. Accept Him this Christmas; and you will find love, peace and joy beyond compare. So many skeptics, doubters and unbelievers have tried to destroy the Bethlehem Christmas, but they will never be able to because Jesus is Christmas.

Cruel men tried to destroy Him at Calvary, but He walked out of that tomb and still lives today. Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25). Because of Christ’s sacrifice, all who want to can have eternal life today.

All the beautifully decorated homes at Christmastime represent Jesus to me. The lovely lights shining inside and out represent the light of Heaven. Jesus said, I am the light of the world (John 8:12). We must take that Gospel light of Christmas to those who are living in the darkness of this world. When Jesus walked on Earth, the Bible tells us, The people which sat in darkness saw great light (Matthew 4:16).

Isaiah said, His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Jesus is everything you need. He is Heaven’s Christmas gift sent from the Father above to all who will accept Him.

God Protected Jesus

Herod tried to kill Christmas Jesus. He knew about the prophecy that told of Christ’s coming, so he asked to meet with the three wise men who had followed the Lord’s star and traveled for two years to see the little Savior. They were determined to find the young child, and Herod made them think that he wanted to worship Jesus as well; so he told them, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also (Matthew 2:8). However, Herod was a devil-possessed hypocrite, and the Lord warned the wise men in a dream not to return to him.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men (Matthew 2:16). Think of all the sorrow and heartache Herod caused just trying to get rid of one child.

Before that declaration was made, God had also told Jesus’ Earth father, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him (Matthew 2:13). They stayed there until Herod had died. God protected Jesus, so He could fulfill His mission here on Earth.

What a Holy Night!

Even the animals in the stable felt the holy presence of the Lord and were drawn to it, but most of the people in that area that night never gave that stable a second thought. I’m sure others saw the same star the wise men saw, yet they took no interest in it. They were so close to that amazing miracle—the arrival of the Redeemer—but they missed it.

Surely, all the flowers suddenly opened up in full bloom when the little Son of righteousness who had created them arrived. The birds awoke and began to sing the glorious songs the Lord had written for them. I’m sure all the animals were wide-awake, and the shepherds were there to witness it all. Oh, what marvelous sights they must have seen!

A real Christmas celebration can bring families together in the spirit of that miraculous night, and oh, what a night to remember that was. I never get over the wonder of Heaven’s great love. God sent His Only Begotten Son to die for us, and Jesus willingly walked that path of great suffering. After Adam and Eve sinned, God tried everything He could to bring man and woman back to Him, but nothing worked. Jesus was the only answer, yet most people would not and do not serve Him.

What a sad day in Heaven that must have been when Jesus laid aside His royal robe and walked away from the Father He loved so much to come down to this sinful world in the form of a baby boy. That baby would later give His life on the Cross for our sins. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8).

Come to Christmas Jesus

So many ministers no longer teach the true born-again experience; but Jesus told Nicodemus, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). Nicodemus was a Pharisee, a Jewish religious leader, but he didn’t understand how a man could be born again. Then Jesus went on to explain to him, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which, is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (John 3:5-7).

Oh, poor, weary Sinner, come to Jesus and have a real Christmas for the first time in your life. I have brought the true Christmas to you. Will you accept Christmas Jesus? Say this prayer with me right now: Oh, God, I want you! I want the kind of Christmas I have read about today. I want peace, joy and understanding. I want a joyful Christmas of glad tidings and great joy, one like I have never had before. I confess that I have sinned against Heaven, and I ask for you to have mercy upon me! Lord, you said if I would repent of my sins, you would forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am repenting now, and I believe the divine blood washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, your name is now written in the Lamb’s book of life; and the devil can never erase it. You have your passport to Heaven and don’t ever lose it. Become a witness just like the shepherds were, not just at Christmastime but all year round.

The Healing Christ

Jesus also came to bring physical healing. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). The Bible also says, With his stripes [the blood stripes He received at the whipping post] we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

I am not your healer; I am just the Lord’s witness and His believer. The Bible says, The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). Lord, I bring these people to you. You heal all kinds of diseases through this Jesus ministry. Thousands have been healed of AIDS, and many more thousands have been healed of cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, arthritis and so much more. Crippled limbs have been re-created, and those with paralysis can now walk. You know the needs of each one of these people. Heal and deliver them now, in the blood name of Jesus, I pray.

Feel the divine, healing power flowing through your body and believe what God is doing for you. Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

Now, you must go on and receive the wonderful baptism of the Spirit like they received on the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2:4. Then help me take Christmas Jesus to the whole world before it’s too late! One day soon, Jesus will come for His Bride; and we have to get as many souls as possible ready to meet Him in the air. Yes, Jesus is our Christmas, so enjoy Him and have the greatest Christmas you have ever had. God bless you today.
